Refresh my memory re: BRU returns and registry items

I have a couple of things that I received off of my registry at BRU that DS is just now big enough for, and I really don't need/want them now that I know more about what I'm doing. Unfortunately, I've lost the gift receipts somewhere along the way.
Does BRU allow you to return items purchased from your registry w/o a receipt? I thought it was ok as long as it was under 12mos of your EDD, but I can't remember.

Nope! I had this issue with her hi-chair and something else. It was still packaged and everything... off my registry and you can still see it as bought off my regsitry at BRU.
My shower was in April, DD was born in June and I didn;t need the hi-chair until late Sept (don't need it at all anymore). They didn't take it back since it was past 90 days.
They didn't take it back since it was past 90 days.
Recently, I tried to return 2 identical $10 items from my registry and they said since it was more than 90 days after I delivered, they wouldn't take it back.
If I were you, I'd try and take it back and just say you can't find the receipt. See if they'll give you a store credit or something. I'm going to try this with what I tried to return the next time I go back. I have spent well over $100 each of the last few times I've gone in there, so I don't feel bad trying to get them to return $20 of items (that they still carry) that I can't use.
