Why PM?

My nosy self wonders why those of you who have email addresses for people on the group would send PM, which seem like much more of a PITA.

    Not that I PM much, but I might be inclined to PM instead of email because my email inbox is a mess and it's faster to PM than to try to dig up someone's email address. :)

    Because the PM is right here, one click from this current page. Email would require me logging into a particular email acct (I have too many) and composing the email.
