Trying to Get Pregnant

After a Miscarriage...

I miscarried on Sunday, and my bleeding has slowed down tremendously. I dont have cramps anymore either. I do however have what seems like cervical pressure. I'm going to call my obgyn in the morning, but just thought I'd ask if this seems normal. I also feel somewhat lightheaded on occasion. Just want to make sure I'm not overlooking symptoms I should be seen for.

TIA. :

Re: After a Miscarriage...

  • I'm sorry that you are going through this. I'm sorry for you loss.

I'm not trying to sound insensitive to your issue but maybe your question might be better suited on the miscarriage and loss board. You might get more insightful responses.

For what it's worth, a little different from your situation but I ended up having a D&C when I had my loss. There was still some pressure from that though.

I am sorry you are going through this.  I had a loss earlier this month as well.  I did not experience the pressure or lightheadedness you mention.  I would give your OB a call and talk to a nurse.  It always makes me feel better just asking the questions rather than waiting and worrying.  Good luck.

  • I'm so sorry for your loss.

I have not experienced a miscarriage, so I have no advice. I agree with PP, check with the Miscarriage board, the ladies there will probably be able to help you better!

  • I'm sorry for your loss. I had a cytotec induced miscarriage in August. I didn't have any pressure, but I did have some lightheadedness and a fever, which may or may not have been related to the m/c. I was checked for infection and there was none, so my OB thought I may have had a virus. If by any chance you do get a fever, call your OB ASAP. That can be a serious sign. Depending upon how far along you are and what type of tissue you need to pass, I think pressure seems like it would be normal. I hope the physical aspect of this passes quickly for you. Hugs.
