Past due date vent.

So tomorrow I will be 41 weeks. Last Thursday, our due date feels like it was a month ago. My brotherinlaw surprised us by flying in for Labor day weekend hoping to meet his nephew with no such luck. I am now officially on maternity leave and don't have my baby in my arms. My inlaws are going out of town this weekend and everyone keeps suggesting ways that I can help things along. It feels like there is all this pressure on me to get him out but there is nothing I can do! I just want to meet my son!! I hate to complain because I really want him to come when he is ready and don't want to be induced...but I just needed to vent. Rant over!

    I'm "only" 2 days behind you...but I know at this point every day feels like a week! It HAS to happen sooner or later, but I know how frustrating it gets when everyone implies they're just waiting on you to flip a switch or something. Good luck, do you have any plans as far as induction or anything?

    Last week she said she wouldn't induce until I am two weeks over so potentially another week. Although she really thought I would have gone on my own by now too. I see her again today so we'll see if she has changed her mind.
