Ok, So I live in Sudan Africa.
My dr says I should drink gatorade if I can get my hands on it to help prevent OHSS. I found some yesterday, but it's quite expensive like 5 bucks a bottle, and they say you should drink 1 or 2 a day, which means thats going to be a whole lot of money.
I drink about 5 liters of water a day, and you really need to drink this amount anyways in this desert heat!
and I have been eating a high protein diet.
therefore my question is, is the gatorade that important ? do you think I should spend a ton of money stocking up on this stuff.....the joys of imported products!

Re: Help :)
My doc said you can add a little sugar and salt to water to get a similar drink. If you google "homemade sports drink" you can find a bunch of recipes. Some just have the sugar/salt, some have kool-aid packets. All are cheaper than gatorade, though! Here is one recipe I found after not looking that hard.
