Just installed my cloth diaper sprayer!

Well, DH did. Is it weird that I cant wait for X to poop so I can test it out?

    How did the installation go?? I need to get one. DS has been on solids for awhile now, but he hasn't actually consumed much, so I haven't started spraying. But his poop is getting stickier, for lack of a better word, so I need to sort this out!

    My DH did that a few weeks back, haven't really used it yet because LO is still EBF but let me know how it goes when you test it!  I tried once and got water everywhere so I'm not sure what I did wrong.

    RE getting water everywhere. I still do this occasionally when I am being lazy or tired. It helps to put the diaper in the bowl (not under or in the water but in the bowl, KWIM?) then spray on an angle downward. I also have this bleach foamy spray stuff that I spray the toilet down with afterwards, so I have a shiny toilet all the time now. The poop particle thing was creeping me out.

    yes! it took me a few tries to figure this out.

    we made our sprayer with $20 in parts from lowes and it took my husband about 10 minutes to install it. easy peasy. and i'm finding it really useful for lots more things than diapers! the toilet in N's bathroom is right near the tub, so i rinse a lot of stuff over the tub now with it (DH's dirty sneakers, the dog, etc).

    I could have written this whole post myself. We made our own. I use it constantly. Love it.

    For you ladies who made your own: did you have a rigid hookup to your toilet already in place or a flexible one?
