Hi, I can only pump 2x/day at work. I am a teacher and that is how my schedule works out. Thing is.... after my first session there is really no decent place to clean the pump horns ( I have an Ameda pump, so there is no tubing issues ). The sinks in the school are disgusting. I find myself rinsing them while holding them in REALLY hot water, then drying them with a towel and using them again for the next session. Is this really bad and unsanitary? I hope this isn't too gross to do or unsafe. The sinks are just so dirty and never cleaned properly. Thank you.
Re: Pumping, is this really bad?
Just buy another set. They are super cheap and well worth it to not have to clean during the day.
Or stick in the fridge. That was my other trick. I never even rinsed
