Um what happened to my baby?

I usually have the most well behaved baby around he never cries unless he is hungry...he doesn't need to be held a lot and he will just sit around chill and play and squirm around all day.

Past 3 days OH MY GOSH! he is like possessed. he cries non stop. I can't put him down at all or he screams endlessly. BUT when I pick him up he usually stops. So I just put him back down and he is screaming again. I don't want to hold him all day, but I don't want him to CIO for more than like 10 mins. It's so hard! He has also been drooling soooooo much and eating his hands and feet. IDK if it is teething or the 4 month thing which I don't know much about. He always wants to be sitting up if I lay him down oh boy he goes nuts... is anyone having a similar experience? He is also waking up like 2-3 times now before it was only once...is there anything I should try that I'm not doing? Thanks.

    Poor DS and poor you!!  It might be teething?  What I understand about the 4MW is that they are more alert and distracted during the day so they don't feed as well, and make up for it at night by waking & needing extra feeds.  We had it with DS1 but not with DS2 (knock on wood).  Hope it passes soon for you!

    This is a lot like what we're going through right now. My DS has started having more problems with gas lately--he'll scream for an hour and will only stop if I'm walking him around, holding him upright. Have you tried wearing him?

    He's also been waking up in the MOTN, which he'd stopped doing a while back. Then, after he eats, he won't go back to sleep unless he's cuddling with me in my bed.

    For teething, my mom used to swear by a frozen washcloth. Just make sure the part he's holding isn't too cold. Some people use amber necklaces--they're supposed to help even if they're worn as anklets.

    We are going through all of the same stuff. I'm one tired cookie all of the time. I read " The Wonder Weeks" on my e-reader to help me get through it and it makes me see these changes in a positive light. It helps me when I just say to myself it will pass and he is learning new skills. ((( hugs))))

    Mine has also become more annoying lately. Wailing and whatnot. Gnawing her hands. Just being a pain in the arse more often. But it's not all the time, just periods of time. So I know others have it much worse.

    Sometimes I think this easy baby has ruined me, she's so happy always that when she does get fussy we are scratching our heads for what to do!
