Stupid crib soother!

I picked up a really nice crib soother at a resale store the other day, and L loves it! I can put him in the crib and turn it on and he'll just play and look at it...which is great and all- but it shuts off after 10 freaking minutes! My baby needs longer entertainment! Every 10 minutes I have to go back in and push the button again, or he'll start to get irritated. I push the button, and he's happy as a clam again. Are all crib soothers like this?

I have 3 different ones that I all got as hand me downs and all of mine are like that too.

I think ours lasts about 20-25 minutes before shutting off. It comes with a remote that I keep on his bedroom door. He is usually asleep before the 20 minutes but if I ever have to restart the machine I can quietly press the remote without him seeing me and crying.
