As long as baby wants it? I know it's a great source of iron for them, but dd won't eat it and hasn't since she got her first taste of another form of food. Her pedi keeps telling me pureed fruit and cereal for breakfast and I have to remind him she hasn't eaten that in a couple months now.

DD is 10 months, I don't think I've given her cereal as a meal since May. I keep a box of baby oatmeal around though. It works great for thickening her food when it's a little too thin.
