Started: Well, I have the drapery fabric to recover the cornice in my living room but I still need to pick up some more batting... so I guess I haven't really started
Completed: 2 recipes
One was a breakfast casserole: it turned out to be terrific and we have actually had it twice! No pics but super easy to make. I'll post the recipe if anyone is interested (think I forgot to actually pin this one)
The other was this ham and swiss sammie casserole with a buttery dijon sauce. It.was.amazing. I only made half the recipe for a family function and it was gone! I know it is pinned on my recipe board if anyone is following me.
Failed: the cornice recovering project might quickly turn into a fail!

What a cute thread! Is this just for the week, or in general? Making myself accountable might force me to complete projects that are currently underway.
Started: A wine cork-cork board. However, it's currently upstairs under the bead. I need to finish it.
Planned: To repaint some of my Little Tikes plastic toys, depending on feedback I get from others
Completed: I have completed some recipes, a couple being the bagged freezer meals
Failed: I baked some of the 'baked oatmeal' recipe that takes overnight to make. It was meh, no big deal-I could have just made regular oatmeal.
I didn't do anything I said I was going to from last week. I bought all the ingredients for the appetizers but failed to make them. I did make this peppermint foot scrub:
but kind of failed because I used brown sugar crystals and bought scented baby oil so I opted to leave out the peppermint and ended up with a coco butter smelling brown scrub, which worked since it looked like sand and smelled like the beach. I also didn't use it on my feet. I used it on my hands and arms and oh my they felt heavenly. It is not on permanent residence at my kitchen sink. It was a bit oily but.. what do you expect with baby oil as the main ingredient? I found the exact same jar at the dollar store and bought a few to make holiday gifts.
This weekend we have an open house so I doubt I will be making too much. Hopefully the apps I planned last week.
This past week I tried a new recipe. Chicken taco pizza. Here's what it looked like:
AMAZING! I changed it up a little as I didn't like some of the ingredients but everyone loved it. And it was SO easy, I had it on the table in 20 minutes from the time I put the ground chicken in a pan to cook.
It's also party time in the house as the kids' party is Saturday. I did these 2 items:
and
Both were really easy and look amazing. DH thinks I'm something special.
I'm still working on refinishing my stairs. I also plan to do a few more DIY things for thier party. I will show pics next week.
Mine didn't look that pretty. It tasted pretty good, and E loved it. DH wouldn't touch it because of the broccoli but I still prefer regular old mac n cheese.
ETA: I also made a Summer Tortellini Salad. I was too hungry to wait for it to cool so we ate it hot the first go round. It was sooo yummy. (But I am a sucker for tortellini). It was also really good cold (as it is supposed to be served.)
This week I am planning to make Baked Parmesan Tomatoes and I am attempting to make the Birthday Poster. I drew a rough sketch last night. Can't wait to start it.
Kagl- Love the water bottles! I was planning on doing this for E's party and didn't know if it would be worth the effort. Seeing yours, yes, I will definitely do it.

These are my finished product:
Those were a pic from Pinterest. I LOVE how they came out. I made DH cut all the ribbon in the same length. Then I hot glued everything on. Took maybe 30 minutes (and we were goofing off so it probably would have taken less). Totally worth it and cost me $3.50 for the water, $2 for each ribbon (which I used elsewhere too) and $1 for the stickers. I LOVE the end result!
Started: A framing project...I spray painted all of the crappy frames I have black. I bought a bunch of different shaped L's. I plan to make a photo collage on the wall this week.
Planned: I'm planning on making a "chalk board thing" out of old cookie sheets for my kitchen wall.
Completed: "Healthy" Zucchini Brownies. They came out delicious...but after I imputed the ingredients to find out the nutritional information, I was less than comfortable calling them "healthy". Boxed mix brownies are healthier in regards to cals & fat...but, o'well.

I cooked ground chicken then seasoned it with Medium taco sauce, paprika, salt and pepper. Then I put it on top a pre-cooked thin pizza crust. Put some mozzarella and white cheddar cheese on top, some lettuce then poured some more medium taco sauce on top. Baked at 350 for 20 minutes or until cheese was melted. Because everything was cooked before I put it in the oven it really only needed to be heated. So easy and so delicious! I plan to serve with rice and beans in the future, but we ate it alone just fine too.
fun thread! Can anyone join? I hope so, because I am going to!
Started? I started little fake roman shades for our kitchen. So far I have one completed, one to go.
Planned? Planning on redoing our halfbath, maybe stripes?
Completed? We finished our board and batten accent wall on Sunday. I'm loving it.
Failed? nothing recent.
I love reading your blog! DH and I are going to do something similar in our dining like you just did for your TV wall. And those Roman Shades I have pinned to do in our Master Bedroom. I'm so excited to see how yours came out. Were they hard? For some reason they are scaring me.

I did Stephanie's Goulash and Healthy Mama BBQ chicken. Each recipe made two gallon size bags, so I gave one bag of each to MIL when we visited (she just had a hip replacement) and the other two we kept. We haven't eaten the BBQ Chicken yet, but the Goulash was good. I think that I might add some more worchestershire sauce next time to kick it up a bit. Also we didn't add sour cream in at the end, we used C's greek yogurt. I will totally do something like this again, it was easy to make the bags, and it is awesome knowing that I have something that I can just throw in the crockpot. Oh, and I didn't thaw it the day before in the freezer, I just thew it in the pot frozen.

Thank you! I love the way it turned out, and it really is so easy! Im thinking of doing something similar in our bedroom/
Which roman shades? Are you going to try the ones that attach directly to your mini-blinds? I tried that last winter, and I totally flopped on that! Haha it just didnt work for me, I dont know why. I did something like this...

These are what I want to do in our master bedroom. I really need them to be adjustable, so I have to do something like this. I'm really afraid to try it on one of my blinds though, because I don't want to ruin them.
Lentil Soup : It was so freaking good and easy to make. It's super hot here, but that didn't soup me from having two bowls of it. I will make this one again. I made it without the chicken.
Cauliflower Rice : The texture was just like rice. I added a little olive oil at the end and it tasted awesome.
Apple and Celery Juice : This tasted like crap and it turned brown before I had a chance to finish drinking it.

I made this Chicken Broccoli Supreme last week and it was one of the best pinterest recipes I have ever made! The only thing I change is that I used frozen broccoli and thawed it instead of cutting up fresh broccoli. Cutting up broccoli seemed too time intensive and I'm tired after work. Oh, and I added some poppy seeds to the sauce too, but I really like poppy seeds.
It also doesn't use any canned soup. I know some people don't like to use canned food.
It's good heated up too, just crush a few fresh crackers on the top.
This is my cork wreath. It still looks like this. I have only managed to drink one more bottle of wine. I am slacking, but my mom said she has a bag of corks for me.
The pin-
I am going to put a bow and a T that a painted, if I ever finish it!
I think I am going to try this old T-shirt rug next. The baby will like playing with it if nothing else.
