Sigh, just spent 25 minutes trying to get Ari to sleep. I finally gave up and just put him in his crib and walked downstairs. My blood pressure was going through the roof.
I just don't understand why every nap, besides his first one, is so hard. He goes down almost 2 hours after his last wake up so I know he is tired. He falls asleep just fine but always wakes when I put him down.
I know I know, I need to sleep train him for naps...
Ugh/end vent.
Re: I really dread nap time.
Yay! Let's commiserate!
I am super tempted to just wait until he starts daycare in 5 weeks... but then I don't think he or I will survive 5 weeks without consistent naps.
I will be picking up the sleep easy solution today but am really anxious to start.
Naps are really hard for DD when she's with me. With her sitters she does great! So over the weekends DD gets extremely tired because she hardly naps. She's always a great night sleeper though regardless.
When I do get her to nap it is in her swing, or on me, about 45-60 min per nap, maybe once or twice a day.
Adeline's one of the oldest babies on this board.
She's still a cat napper.
This past week at home camping with her and her cat naps was so hard.
