Settle this argument. My husband and I have different opinions on this issue:

You are taking a shower. You go to get out of the shower. Do you:

A) Step on the bathroom rug sopping wet and stand there soaked as you dry off (because hey-- isn't that what the rug is for?)

Grab the towel off the rack, dry off in the shower then step out.

B for me, A for DH.

One factor for me is the cold. Because it's so hot out, we run the A/C pretty much 24/7, so getting out of the warm shower into direct fire of the A/C makes me really cold. I'd rather hide behind the shower glass than step into that blast of frigid air.

This helps, and I figured this is what we ladies did.

I am B and DH is A.
My husband SOAKS the rug. I'm talking water is seeping out of the sides of it. I can't use the toilet because the rug remains wet for a good 3 hours.

I am so an A. I grab the towel get out normaly drying off and brushing my teeth at the same time...yes I am a mess and always running behind!

I get out and drench the rug, my husband drags his towel over to the shower with the intention of drying off before he gets out but still drenches the rug. does that make my husband a special snowflake?

I'm an A. The thing is though I get so annoyed that DH is also an A because the rug is soaked when I get out of the shower. However, I do the same thing so I really have no business getting upset about it.

I have the same thing going on in my house too! I'm a B - towel off before getting out of the shower, DH is an A - just let the rug catch the runoff LOL. Luckliy we have separate bathrooms, at least until the kids are older, because it really grosses me out to walk over/stand on a wet rug for some reason
