CD mommas, ? about cloth wipes

We have been using cloth wipes since day 1 and love them. They were so easy, we just wet with warm water under the tap before each use and tossed the used ones into the wet bag and then right into the washer because X was EBF. But now he is starting solids and i'm wondering what to do with the wipes. Do I have to dunk them in the toilet just like the diapers? Seems really messy... What do you do?

We have a sprayer, so I just throw them in a mesh that has large mesh holes and spray the bag then I throw the whole thing in the laundry. Unless there are really large pieces I don't worry about it much. I love cloth wipes too, they are so much easier when CDing than using disposable wipes.

Honestly: I only use cloth wipes if there's no poo. Wet wipes all the way for poopy butts.

We use cloth wipes. I don't spray them. If there's a bit of poo on there, so be it. If there's a chunk, I just wipe it on the diaper when I'm done and spray the diaper. He only poops about once per day so it isn't a big deal.
