Sharpie or labels

I am considering ordering labels from Stuck on You, I wrote DS name on the name label inside his lunchbox and backpack and on hi folder but am wondering if I should do that on all his jackets and sweatshirts or order labels. If you recommend labels, what company?

Re: Sharpie or labels

  • If a coat or jacket has a tag, I just write DD's name on it with a sharpie. Or if the tag is small, at least her first initial and last name. But she only has like, 2 coats, and snow pants (I can't get her to layer shirts, so no sweaters or sweatshirts), so it's not really that big a deal.

  • I've heard alot about 'Mabels labels' from friends but never used them myself.  I know some schools use them as fundraisers.

  • I LOVE Mabels Labels - they even hold up like new on his lunch box, shoes, and jacket which all go through the dishwasher/washing machine regularly :-)

  • I have the name bubbles labels that I had gotten over the summer for camp but I write with a Sharpie on a ton of stuff.  I find that the labels come off in the wash after a while on some of the stuff.  I did use the cute labels for my girls backpacks, lunchbox and folders though.

  • I've never used their tags for clothes but I've always used the little name dots.  And I swear by them. I tried to do the sharpie but it always came off.  I love the Stuck on You labels!!   I'm getting ready to order DS more and get some for the new baby too!
