Consignment sale tip - after a big consignment sale in your area, start looking at the local thrift stores. At our last consignment sale, I saw this great big (12x12) cube that sang songs. It was priced $20. I was at one of our thrift stores this weekend and got it for $5!!!! J loves it.

We were out and about this weekend and all of my little snack containers had LO's dinner/ lunch leftovers in the fridge. I used an empty sippy cup for snack storage in the diaper bag.

When you start buying happy meals at fast food places, ask if they have an under three toy. McDonald's has some great ones that we have gotten some really good use from. Balls, phone, car... Better than a bust of Barbie that you can only brush her hair...

Hah! I did this the other day because I wanted chicken nuggets so badly! I got a kids meal and asked for the under 3 toy, and it was crappy binoculars... They don't even do anything! Last time H got a happy meal and he got a camera! It squeaks and makes a turning noise. Boo I suck at getting the good toys! Lol

Empty applesauce or fruit cups make great stacking cups and bath toys.
Once she's older I figure they'll be great for snack portions and holding paints and such.
What a great idea! We don't have them all the time, but my mom still buys DD Gerber purees now and then, and those cups would be great in the bath!
