Just wanted to introduce myself

Hi everyone! My son, Graham, was born at 36 weeks on July 12 at 4 lbs. 1 oz. as a result of pre-eclampsia and IUGR. During my induction I experienced a placental abruption and was immediately rushed in for an emergency c-section with general anesthesia. After such a scary, scary day, we got to meet our sweet little one, who miraculously did not need any NICU time and was perfectly healthy! He has been steadily gaining weight every day, and I feel very blessed that we are both here and healthy!Thanks for letting me join you guys!

I'm so glad to hear everything is ok. I'm schedule for a c/s next week at 36 wks and are really worried about nicu time. My doctor said its best for my condition.
