D never liked to sit to pee and has been standing pretty much ever since using the potty clicked at about 2.5 years.

H will sit to pee in the middle of the night if he is exhausted and doesn't want to turn the light on. I think it is mostly because he doesn't want to hear it from me when I wake up to his pee all over the floor....grrrrr!
