Goal weight!!

I hit my goal weight last week! I'm so pumped! When we started talking about babies, I was well over 200 pounds. I was petrified to start trying being so overweight, so I started losing slowly. Now, 2 years after I had my daughter, I've lost 58lbs & I feel so great! That's the short version :) I blogged the journey if anyone's interested :)

  • You should be so proud!  inspiring.  I'm towards the beginning of my journey, but have run 2 5k's this summer.  I'm hoping to never look back.  Thanks for the encouragement!

     

  • This is great and you deserve all the congrats!!  I myself am below my goal weight by 12 lbs, yet my mid section still really bothers me and I know I'm doing everything right.  How do you feel about your belly?  I always thought that once I hit the goal weight everything would be great but not really.  It just doesn't look like it use to pre baby

  • Oh gosh, I hate my belly the most. It's loose & saggy from being stretched out after being so heavy & then having my daughter. I'm doing this ab routine called the 300 & I am loving it! In 2 weeks, I've lost half an inch from my belly button area & my actual waist. I do it every other day because it's the area I want to tighten the most. At this point, I'm really working on toning everything. I'm overall smaller, but things are not pulled in, like you said. Strength training exercises are my new best friend right now :)

    I will have to check that out.  right now I'm strength training as well.  I have also done hip hop abs which I was really pleased with.  I figure lifting the weights will help the belly.  everything else i'm totally fine with

  • Congrats! Great blog. I recently lost 30+ lbs after having my kids. It's hard work but if you stick with something, the results are so worth it! Big Smile
