TTC after 35

Yesterday I turned 36...

and I finished my first full cycle of Femara (for induced ovulation).  I'm just very excited to see if the medicine actually makes me ovulate!!  I think that will do a lot to boost the hope levels around here... :-)

Birthdays have a way of making you think about everything in your life...  I have a loving hubby (married nearly 2yrs, a darling stepdaughter (who's 9 going on 15), my sister's family is nearby (2 darling neices, 4y and 16mos).  I have a secure job, that I really do enjoy; we purchased our house about a year and a half ago, and are working to fix it up the way we want it.  With all of these blessings, I have a hard time because I feel selfish that I'm not fully satisfied with what we have... but I'd really like to be a "full" mother and to share that experience with my hubby.

Thanks for letting me ramble! :-)
