If there is one quote to sum up my infertility journey to date it is this. "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong."
I have to cancel my upcoming cycle and I am beside myself with sadness and frustration. I had to have another HSG to confirm that my hydrosalpinges (tubes filled with toxic fluid, lowering implantation rates by 50% and raising miscarriage rates 2 fold) we closed off from the Essure procedure I had 3 months ago. I had to run to America and pay OOP for this chance. I can't have my tubes out or have tubal ligation like I am supposed to because of surgeries in my youth.
Results of the HSG-one of my tubes is closed and the other is partly closed, but not quite. My doctor said I have to give it another 3 months and try another HSG in December. The tubes *should* be closed by then, but if they aren't, they never will. (Then what?!) 97.5% of women's tubes are closed after 3 months. AGAIN I am the exception. I hope and pray they WILL close and that I am a slow healer.
We just cancelled everything-my cycle, my hotel, and my dear, dear Egg donor. No more Sept transfer. Between the 3 month wait for the next HSG and another month to have a new menstrual cycle, we are looking a January. Because of a heavy traveling work schedule (as in, I am on the wrong continent for many months) if we cannot squeeze a transfer in a tiny window in January, we can't do it until April. APRIL!!! We were so close to this happening, and now I can only pray that in 3 months I will get better news. I am tired of being the fine print-the 1-2% of people who have complications. My hopes of pregnancy are once again on hold, and I am disappointed and heartbroken.

Oh, Glueck... I am so sorry that you are having to deal with all of this. You really have had an incredibly tough journey so far. I wanted to say how heartbroken I am for you. My eyes teared up reading this post. It's so unfair. If there were anything I could do to make the universe change what is happening for you, I would. Big hugs.
TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!
Thank you all for the outpouring of kindness and support. I am just so angry and numb. My husband and I decided that even if the tubes aren't closed after the next three months, we will try anyway. I have no other options.
I am laying low and licking my wounds. We are in the middle of planning for an international move. As stressful as it is, maybe its a good distraction.

Me= 37 and DH = 41
Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)
IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN
IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!
TTC#2: Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.
IVF #4: BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #5: MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN
IVF #6: (New RE): Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN
