Beach Bums check in
Just checking in... I know there were a lot of beach bums with beta 1 on Friday 8/31 and I would imagine most offices are closed today... sooo.. I was just wondering who has a beta 2 tomorrow and how you are holding up?
I am trying to channel my sticky doubling vibes for my little nugget as I need a miracle to progress from my lowly 32 beta... I had a dream that I got the call tomorrow and it was only at 90...
Anyway just wanted to see who was in my beta 2 boat...

Morning! I actually had beta 2 today. My center is open every day of the year I think! Waiting on the results...hopefully bc it's a holiday, I'll hear sooner rather than later. I'm holding up pretty well at this point. I've been peeing on sticks all weekend like an addict and just love seeing the word "pregnant" or the two lines. I've also been praying like crazy my number today is a good one.
I am sending tons of doubling vibes your way and keeping everything crossed for your nugget!

Are you having any symptoms?
I am exhausted, have sore boobs, some light dizziness, hot flashes, and early morning insomnia (I had this when I was pg in December even before I found out!) It is weird.. I wake up about 3 am and can't go back to sleep- as if it is morning.. then by 5 or so SOMETIMES I can get back to dream land... Not going to be fun once work starts tomorrow!
I just keep trying to tell myself it is all the hormones I am on.. just in case...
Sending doubling vibes... just wishing it was tomorrow afternoon already...
No real symptoms at this point, but I put so little faith in them anyway because of all the drugs I've been on in the last month. I def had symptoms from the Ovidrel, but those seemed to dissipate before the first beta last week. I am hungry all the time and pee a ton, although the peeing isn't anything new because I drink a ton of water. I'm screwed when I go back to school on Thursday bc it's not like I can just leave my first graders to go pee whenever I want!
That waking up and not sleeping thing is terrible! I've been sleeping pretty soundly but having super weird dreams.
I am so hoping that you get a nice strong number tomorrow!

Good luck everyone, my 2nd beta s scheduled for tomorrow....(office closed today)' I'm not feeling ever hopeful with a 1st bea 10dt 5dt at 21. Feel like its going to end up in a c/p, but still hoping and praying it was a slow starter.
As far as symptoms I feel tired, been sleeping alot.!

DH left today for an OOT trip so we did an HPT this morning... we swear we see a faint line! That's our first 2nd line ever. It was FMU, but I had woken up in the middle of the night (not sure what time) to pee like a race horse (which I never do, but have been doing the past 3 nights) and I'm not sure if that affected the concentration of HCG in my urine. I'm 9dp3dt... the faintness of the line wasn't very convincing, so we don't want any congrats at this point (afraid to get excited). I just got back from Target where I bought two different types of tests but I'm afraid to pee on them at this point. I'm sure I'll work up the courage to POAS later today. Beta is scheduled for Wednesday. This is why they tell you not to POAS! Lol. I think that even the faint line has given me renewed hope.

TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!
Good luck to all the Beach Bums! I have my beta on Thursday... whhhhhyyyy soooo looooong?! LOL (I know it's the 2ww and Thursday it will be exactly 2 weeks, but sometimes they do them a couple days earlier...)
As of right now, no POASing. DH doesn't want to because he's afraid of getting a false answer, so he talks me out of it every time. It also helps that we don't have any pee sticks in the house!

We traveled this weekend for labor day- today I am on the couch exhausted! Feeling tired and a little moody BUT will not complain!! Hoping for another great Beta tomorrow!!
