Atlanta Ladies or anyone who knows the Buckhead area

I will be flying into Atlanta this coming weekend. We are staying in the Buckhead area. What are your suggestions on what to do, see, eat, etc. We are tagging along with my mom on a business trip. So it will just be me and little man hanging out all day. I have never been to Atlanta before and can't wait for this weekend. It looks like there are a ton of things to do in this area.

Thanks ladies!

  • Lenox mall is the big mall there. Really, I'd say shopping and eating is about all there is to do with a baby. If you can get downtown the Georgia Aquarium is very cool and so is World of Coca Cola, right next to each other.

  • I have no clue if you like to drink or are breastfeeding and can even have a beer, but if you like beer, you must go to Taco Mac. They have 140 beers on tap and over 200 bottles. Every.Single.Day. It's not just a bar, it's a restaurant too so you shouldn't get any side eyes bringing your baby. Also they have good food. Despite the name, they aren't mexican food, they specialize in hot wings. Haha.

  • I agree with previous posts.  Buckhead is mostly shopping and eating.  The Georgia Aquarium is my home away from home and is a great way to get out of the hotel room when it's hot out.  Just be warned that it's a 10-15 minute walk from the closest MARTA train line.  There are buses that drop off closer to it though.  The zoo is pretty fun if it's not too hot out, but that is only accessible by bus or taxi.
