Not what I was expecting but maybe some good news...

I was planning a trying this upcoming cycle for June 2013 spud but maybe some good news.  I didn't think anything would take this cycle because I was on ibuprophen, vicodin and antibiotics for my root canal.  I've been having wine after work but this week, just in case, testing before having a drink to set my mind at ease.

And...it was a BFP:)  Well, actually it was a faint positive on a dollar tree test.  Then I thought, I should do the EPT and sure enough, that was quite clear.  I'm excited but nervous because although I read everything should be fine, you just don't know.  My last AF was 8/8 so it's about 3 wks, very early.  But the wine and meds I was on makes me all a little nervous right now that it may be a false positive.  I don't want to get too excited yet, but I wanted to share the news with you ladies:)

 

I'm trying to not let that get the best of me and stay positive.  I had a CP a few months ago so just keeping my fingers crossed all is ok.

    omg congrats! When is your EDD then?

    And, I think you should be fine. People get pregnant all the time and do so drinking/doing really bad things to their bodies, and their babies "turn out" okay lol. It's not like you were taking the vicodin for years, just for your root canal pain :)

    EDD is May 15:)  I went back to the store and got another test just because.  Pink line is still there:)
