Cold weather clothes

Is anyone else buying winter clothes already? I'm thinking he will be in 12-14 months. He is already wearing 9 months and some of them are getting a little snug depending on the fit. There is a big fall consignment sale coming up the middle of sept and I'm planning to check that out. A week before C was born I went to it and bought him a lot of things. I got several things for him in March that he will be able to wear this winter. Almost brand new clothes for a few dollars. Most were name brand too. They usually have a spring and fall sale.

    Umm... Confession: the kids are outfitted until next fall. I just have to get DS a Halloween costume (I'm thinking dog catcher since we are reusing his puppy one for DD), their Christmas and Easter outfits. DS could use some long sleeved shirts to wear under his t-shirts. He also needs some church clothes if last years sweaters don't fit. I just did inventory and the have 3 diaper cases full of clothing. DS can still wear stuff from last year. My name is KKFeb04 and I buy too many clothes that they never fully wear. FYI: its all Gymbo with Janie & Jack in the mix.

    Ds wears mostly 9 month and 6-12 month clothes with a few 9-12 month in the mix. For winter so far I've been buying mostly 12 month clothes and some 18 month because he is long. I just don't want to buy too much and it not work.

    I REALLY want to buy stuff ahead, I just can't decide what size she'll be. She's skinny and long so she's almost outgrown her 6 month sleepers in length, but they're huge on her width wise. In separates, she can often wear a size smaller than she can in sleepers. I think we're good through 9 month wear so I'll probably wait a little bit. It pains me though. I still have barely purchased anything for her myself. I don't look forward to spending the money. But I really want to buy her some clothes and not have others give them to us.

    I'm sitting here tagging clothes for our upcoming consignment sale right now! I kept all of DD1's clothes but DD2 is much larger so I'm going to sell it and use the money I make for their new winter wardrobe. LO is going to be in 9-12 mo clothes for winter. Maybe a few 6 months but they won't last long!

    I've been hitting up garage sales all summer buying ahead.  I think I have enough to get me through to next spring when garage sales start again.

    DD got her cousin's entire wardrobe as a hand-me-down, but her cousin was born in July so the seasons are a little off.  There's a consignment sale next Sat. that I'm planning on going to.  I'll get a few things to round out DD's winter wardrobe as well as try to get most of DS's fall and winter clothes there.
