it's a nice idea DH, but....

Thanks for deciding to help clean up. But, I've told you that top priority is bathrooms, kitchen, vacuum. I started the bathrooms and cleaned the kitchen, grocery shopped, and started laundry. He finally got up to help and started reorganizing the cabinets in the laundry room. Yes, it needs to be done. But not as much as everything else! Vacuum for goodness sake! No one goes in the laundry room but me, and the cabinets stay closed.

Priorities man!!! I'd get more irritated and passive aggressively start vacuuming, but I have a baby on my boob. This is how irritable I get when I've been up since 5 on a long weekend, and he slept till 11.....grr

  • Totally get where you're coming from.  They think it's helping, but it's not.  I just try and say calmly what I need.  Doesn't always work, mind you...

  • Uuugghhh the 6 hours of extra sleep would do me in on it's own! Hang in there, they sadly can't read our minds...

  • When dh helps out he will clean out the sunroom or a room in the basement we never use. It needed cleaned, but maybe cleaning the kitchen and getting the food off the stove top from what he just made is more of a necessity.

  • Men are dumb. Now he's organizing magazines. I did ask him to vacuum. He's "getting there" We're going out to dinner in an hour. I have a feeling that "there" isn't happening today. Stupid boys
