Standing in the tub was always immediate ejection from the bath. He learned fast not to stand in the tub.
I'm also amazed that your 7 month old is standing and walking....Your gonna have a hand full if this baby is already throwing tantrums when told no. Thats a shame.
Children push boundaries. That's how they learn what is and is not acceptable. You could try taking her out of the bath tub if she doesn't listen or maybe you could try putting a few bath tub toys in to keep her occupied. I imagine since she has learned to stand and walk recently that she is just entranced by these new abilities. It doesn't mean that she is going to pitch fits forever. Just nip it in the bud now while she is young.
I have tried the "No" straight faced, firm tone and have removed her from the tub. As for her tub toys I have bought every tub toy I could find ( She needs a toy box for tub toys ) Everynight I'm running into this problem. As for her tantrums, she is pushing her boundaries and testing the limits. Outside the tub, when she throws a tantrums I take her away from the unacceptable behavior...she learned quickly tantrums don't work but in the tub its a total different issue.
I think you just need to do the bath as quick as you can when she stands up sit her back down over and over. I would not even bother saying no. Just make it a quick bath,. If she screams she screams. She's only 7 months she is still small..should be easy to handle still.

At 7 months old if you can't handle a "tantrum" good luck with the rest of parenting. THIS is the easy part of parenthood. Wait till you have an almost 3 year old that screams and yells and flings themself down in public because OHMYGODYOUDIDN'TBUYMETHAT50$TOY!!!!!!!ZOMG!!!!!!
You should totes post a video of one of these tantrums! then we can better help you deal with it.
