Success after IF

Is it too early for M/S?

2 days ago, I had 2 short episodes of mild nausea, then yesterday evening, I was nauseous for a couple hours, and it was a little more intense than the day before. I woke up in the middle of the night last night with a faint overall nauseous feeling and this morning it is mild as well so far. I just hit the 4 week mark today. Is it too early for morning sickness? I always heard it didn't start until around 6 weeks. Is this a good sign?

Re: Is it too early for M/S?

  • it's never too early! I swear I felt more nauseous during weeks 4 and 5 than during week 6. And I felt nausea 3 days before my beta. My own personal theory (which is not backed up by anything I've read!) is that during these early weeks our HCG is rising pretty quickly, which may make us more nauseous. I think it's a good sign for you!

I had one week of morning sickness however I was monstrously hungry all day long from 5weeks til the end of my pregnancy.

  • My m/s started at exactly 5 weeks and lasted until 16w3d. I don't think it is ever too early for m/s. Also I always took my m/s as a good sign, as long as I had it I knew this were progressing. Not saying that if you have no m/s you are not progressing, but for me since I had such bad m/s for so long, I took comfort in that it must mean things are fine with the babies.
