There's a couple different ones I'm thinking about going to, b/c if nothing else it will get me out of the house and help me meet other moms in my area. One is held in the back of a kids/maternity store and one is at a hospital. Both have LCs and seem to offer good resources and info. Just wondering if anyone has attended a group and was it helpful?

Re: Anyone going to a BFing support group?
Yes, our hospital offered a free one 1x/week run by a LC. I started it at 6 weeks with DD and we could go for their first year. I'm still really good friend with a lot of the moms/kids, and we even started our own walking group and playgroup out of it.
Maybe try them both out and see which one you like better.
I was a part of mine until DD got too hard to contain, and it was great. I made some great friends one of whom babysat DD last night, got help, and had a good time.
