Tailbone pain

For the last week I have had the worst pain in my tailbone and the only thing u can do to relieve it at all is to lay down. However, with a 7 year old and a house to take care of its not realistic to just lay down all day! Anyone else experiencing this? If so, what have you found that helps?

    Ehh - the house can wait and the 7 year old should be able to entertain themselves for a little while so you can lay down. I have found nothing helps the tailbone pain. I tried sitting on the boppy or a donut, tylenol, lots of stretching and none of it eliminates the pain. Sorry.

    Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
    #11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
    1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh

    I've had the worst tailbone pain the last two weeks as well.. I've found that the only relief comes from sitting "Indian style" and stretching my hips downward - it seems to relieve some of the pressure.  Laying down and sitting on my exercise ball also help, but only mildly.

    I called in sick tonight from work because of this! I can't move without sharp pain in my back, much less walk. Not a good situation for a 12-hr nursing shift. I will continue to veg out on the couch for a while. Hoping for some relief soon. Heat packs do help! At least for me. GL ladies.
