Those who have 3 kiddos

How is it going? Are you completely insane these days? I have two now but would love a third in maybe 2 years once DS1 is out of daycare and into Kindergarden (there is no way we could afford 3 in daycare, wow).  There are days where I feel like I am a nutbag for even thinking I could handle 3, but then again I feel like in the end it would be amazing.  Please fill me in on how it's going for you.

Right now DH and I can each tend to one and it works really well, my fear in having 3 is that one will always kind be waiting for one of us to be free? I also fear that it would really wound our marriage because 3 must consume any free time (not like I have much now).

    I've got 3 and I love it! Micah is 7 and is super helpful. Eli is almost 6 and is so loving. Eli just started kindergarten, so both boys are at school all day long. I love that I get a few hours a day of just me and Lexi. Eli didn't have that since Micah was 17 months old when he was born. I've always wanted three and feel so blessed.

    It is getting easier. At first, I was nuts. But now that DD is creating more of a schedule, the days are moving alot smoother. I love having 3. I always thought I would be 2 and done, but now I wouldnt trade my life for anything!

    No but there's a pretty big gap between my second and third. I still feel like I'm running late a lot but that has happened for the first 6 months after each of our kids. I think it was much easier going from 2 to 3 than going from 1 to 2. Its actually been so easy that we are pretty sure we'll TTC again in a year or so ;)

    These answers are making me feel more positive about wanting three. I'm one of three, and while it seemed kind of crazy at our house growing up, I love having two siblings now. DH is one of two, and he's often said it would be nice to have another sibling.

    When DS was first born, I was about ready to sign H up for a vasectomy. But now that I see how quickly the newborn and post-partum period passes, I think I can do it again Stick out tongue

    We went from 1 to 3 in 14 months! We still don't have a grasp on everything. As stressful as it is, it is awesome at the same time. Give us a year or two and it will be wonderful to have all three so close in age. 3 u 2 in daycare is freaking expensive but going to work is my vacation! And yes, there is usually one that we can't always get to right away. But since you will have older ones that are morecself sufficient by then I wouldn't be too worried.
