Hoarse voice

The past few days, DD has had a really hoarse voice. I don't think she's been crying more than normal... does anyone have any experience with this?

Something I'm considering: ragweed is really bad in our area right now... I have a ragweed allergy, and I've noticed that I've been having trouble with allergies and my allergy-induced asthma. Could DD possibly have allergies? Is it possible that I'm giving her something funny from my immune system during this time, since I EBF? Would any of this cause her to have a hoarse voice?

Re: Hoarse voice

  • try some saline drops and removing mucus with a bulb syringe or nosefrida and see if it gets better. Also try a cool mist humidifier at night.

I am avoiding taking LO out in high pollen days from now on too.

  • We asked our pediatrician about allergies last week. She said it's very rare for a baby this age to have allergies like that
