Have you bought anything?

I have to admit that since we found out, I've been on a bit of a shopping spree. Everything for this summer is on sale, so it's prime time to stock up for next summer, right? BG cloth diapers were on sale for a really good price, so I bought 7 of those. I also went to Carter's today and basically purchased our entire layette for the first 3 months because they are having a 50% off store-wide sale this weekend. We have already purchased our nursery furniture (before we were even pregnant) because it was also on sale for a really good price, and I'm glad that we did since the store no longer carries the set. I know that I sound a little nuts, but I'm a sucker for a good deal. Have you ladies caved and bought anything?

    Just a warning on clothes we got so many as gifts that he barely wore some. And DS was tiny so he lasted in NB longer than most! I'd keep the tags on and maybe exchange for some bigger sizes.

    We haven't bought anything for this one yet. He/she will get a lot of handmedowns from DS.

    No, but I have done lots of virtual shopping! I am trying to not think about the future too much until we hear the heartbeat. Also, my dad is coming over next weekend and I'm keeping the house as baby-free as possible so he won't guess.

    Not yet... I haven't really got past the announcement part yet lol I've been shopping for DD and prepping things for my weekly bump/bloat pics that I'm going to start taking tomorrow :) I don't think we really bought anything until we knew we were having a girl last time, and it'll probably be the same this time- unless I see some really cute GN stuff on sale after we hear the heartbeat.

    Nope. And I don't plan on it until after we find out the sex. Plus this is not my first so I don't have that sense of urgency- "we need to buy ALL THE THINGS NOOOOWWWW"- feeling that I had with DD1. Haha. Looking back I was a little crazy...I had my list of things to buy by the time I was six weeks.

    We haven't bought anything since we already have all the baby gear we need. I'll probably invest in some woven wraps though and some gender neutral NB outfits since we're going team green this time around.

    No not yet. I look online here and there. I do have to buy everything new since we gave away all the baby things. We will wait till we know what we having.

    We have a toddler so we have all the baby stuff we need except for furniture and if it's a girl then I'll need some clothes, but other than that I don't plan on buying anything really because I went overboard with our son and my husband would kill me if I came home with more gear.

    I spent a ton on some new maternity clothes from Motherhood/A Pea in the Pod.  It was too good of a deal to pass up.  Before sales, the total was $868, after the sales it was $340 (plus tax).  I have a very strict (but nicely priced) maternity budget, so I wanted to get as much as I could for it.  I still have $100 or $350 left to spend (depending on if there's 1 or 2 babies), but that'll mostly be saved for at the end if I need a few new things when spring rolls around.  Other than that, I bought a baby development book for my IP's.  When I had my twins, I don't think I bought anything until the big u/s.

    I am so glad to hear that so many of you are super eager like I am!! I have been wanting to be a mother for years so I am so excited I can barely contain it. I bought a onesie that says "My Grandma is the best!" to announce to my mom. We also already have a bassinet which we got from my aunt and uncle (I have a 4 year old cousin). She hardly used the bassinet and they knew that one day DH and I would be trying so they gave it to us. I have also done quite a bit of online "window" shopping. I don't really want to buy anything yet, it feels early, but I am too excited not to look!
