I have 2, one of which is a beagle mix who barks at the smallest noise. If DS is sleeping he might flinch when the beagle barks but doesn't seem bothered by it. I heard that babies can hear the dogs in the womb so they are used to the noise.
ds completely sleeps through the dog barking. guess he was used to it in utereo.
This - we have a beagle mix and he howls when he gets excited. Although it may wake her up if she's sleeping in the same room, in general it doesn't seem to phase her. Baby and dog are still figuring each other out - Dog seems to want to protect her and love her but is also a bit jealous of her, since he used to be the only 'kid'. I think the relationship will blossom when she starts eating solids and throws food on the floor :-)
