I am currently using medela storage containers to freeze BM ..I love them but a set only consists of 12 and quickly adds up, price wise. I'm wondering what you use to store breast milk. I was considering the honeysuckle storage bags which are bpa free and am wondering what others are using?
TIA!
Re: breastfeeders come in...
I pump and use Lansinoh sp? bags. They work fine and I can freeze them flat.
This is what I've been doing as well.
It might be...Check out amazon..You can get more info about them there. The reviews for Honeysuckle are really good and the price is affordable as well.
This.
Me too!!
Yep, me too! I did start out using the medela bags though. I didn't like them because although they claim to be 5 oz, I found that 4 oz of milk filled the bag
This is what I did for homemade baby food too.
Also in a month or so you can put one cube in a mesh feeder and teething baby gets a breast milk Popsicle.
no problems with them and I like that you can write the amount, day you pumped, etc
Wow! What a great idea! I'm going to have to try this. Thanks for posting.

I kind of disagree. I have about 60 bags in the freezer and that only cost about $8. If I froze 60 bottles it would cost me over $100 for the bottles and I would have no room in my freezer after freezing.
OP: Lanoish bags are 2 for $12 at Target with 50 in each box. That's a good deal.
I agree. Read it again
I'm saying it's better to freeze the bags, though I prefer bottles. I'll only be using the bottles for what I'm keeping fresh for the sitter or DH when I'm at work.
Oops my mistake, apparently didn't read the than.
