day care waiting lists???

Hi Ladies

 I am currently 5 months pregnant and am starting to look for daycares for my baby. I keep getting 9-12 months waiting lists...can any of you tellme of some good daycares to check out in the fairfax/centreville area?

 I guess I should have began looking even before I got pregnant :o(

Help please!

    Put your name on the centers you like, even if its a long wait list.  The administrators can only guess how long it's going to be.  At 5 months pregnant, you have 4 months to go, plus two to three months of maternity leave.  You might be able to get a spot.

    Also, get recommendations for home based care.  You might have better luck on the DC area board - it's more heavily populated.
