Glucose test

Did anyone else feel horrible after two hour tet rest of day? I'm exhausted sleepy, and feel like I got run over by a car

    I felt pretty crappy after my one hour,but I hadn't been sleeping well either.

    YES! I just had mine today and i felt totally fine during, but all the rest of the day I've gone through nausea, vomiting, vertigo and now I'm exhausted like I've just run a marathon!

    I wasn't aware there was a two hour test, just a one hour and a three hour.

    I had mine a couple of days ago. Drinking the Glucola was the worst part. I was pretty tired afterward, but nothing terrible. Sorry you're feeling so yucky!

    I had a 2 hour glucose tolerance test today early morning and the lab required me to fast for 10 hours before.  I like the drink and finish it in a minute.  It tasted like fanta orange soda except no carbornation but still I feel a little carbornated.  I didn't feel anything initially but 20 minutes from then I was very sleepy and went to my car to rest.  After the 1 hour blood drawn, I started to feel a little numbness on my arm.  I then switched arm for the 2nd hour blood drawn.  I started to feel very tired and by the time I's back home, I felt very fatigue and dizzy and my body was shaken.  I had to rest on my couch and need help from dh if i needed to  walk.  I don't know if it's because I didn't have breakfast yet.  I then had a bowl of cereal milk and had dh bought me a 3rd pd angus beef multigrain burger from macdonald.  After that, I felt more sane and the shakiness gradually went away.  The experience was horrible and I hope I can pass the test.  Will find out on Tuesday.  My lab told me that they have not done 1 hr gtt for a while.
