Decorating question...

A year ago we put up chair rail in DS's room and painted the lower half.  Well, I have now decided I don't like the color (the bottom half is a light blue the top half is latte).  So, we are going to repaint. I told DH I want to paint the whole room navy (his bedspread is navy with red accents and there are other red accents in his room and a scoreboard we made on the wall). DH was uncertain at first because he felt like it needed to be two tone because of the chair rail. I think the chair rail is the perfect finishing touch and  that the navy will look fine. thoughts?

    DS's room is navy and red, I LOVE it!! I also totally agree that a navy wall with a white chair rail is perfect!

    His room sounds really neat, I wanted to do navy and red but we ended up doing more of an outer space theme, so it's navy and gray. I like your style!
