UPDATE to in ER post

Well, the good news is Baby is still okay.  He is measuring ahead at 11 weeks, 6 days, and was dancing around.  The bad news is that my SCH has quadrupled in size in a week.  :( It now measures 8.7 x 5.8 x 1.6 cm.  It is huge. :( I am still bleeding very heavily, gushing really.  Still pretty scared.  I hate this stupid SCH so much.

I am now on self imposed bed rest until I see my OB on Tuesday.  I may ask for a referral to a high risk specialist, as she doesn't have much experience with these things and doesn't see the benefit in bed rest.  I am skeptical and want to make sure I am doing everything that I can.

Thanks so much for all of the T & Ps.  It really did and does help to know that you ladies are here rooting for a positive outcome.  :)

I'm sorry, I know that is stressful! Bed rest is smart. With the baby doing well, it still sounds very promising for you :)

Oh my gosh, I'm so glad your LO is still ok in there!  How scary for you.  I don't know much about SCH's.  What are the doctors telling you?  Is it bad for the baby?  I would do exactly what you're doing as far as the self-imposed bed rest goes.

Sorry to hear you are going through this, but happy to hear your LO is dancing away!!  Definitely take it easy and do what you feel is best for you - I'd definitely be on self-imposed bed rest too!  Fingers crossed for a good appointment next week.

I too have a follow up appointment on Tuesday for my SCH.  The not knowing is so stressful and I feel so helpless.  I have been on bed rest for 8 days and am starting to get incredibly bored.  Thank God for this supportive group, as I think I may have burst by now if it's wasn't for all of you!

Glad baby is ok, sorry you are dealing w/ an SCH. As someone who went to the ER gushing blood, only to find out somehow the baby is miraculously ok, I can sympathize w/ the rollercoaster you're probably on.

Sounds like a good idea to ask for a referral. I would really want to see a high risk doc.
