need some ideas

Hi Ladies
My sister who lives across the country wants to send me a present now that she knows about the pregnancy. She wants ideas of what to send. I think mat clothes would be too hard for her to pick out so I'm looking for some other ideas to tell her. Nothing too heavy because she has to ship it and I think she wants to treat me so no baby stuff at this point. Anything you guys loved or yearned for in 2nd tri?

    Food ha ha. Maybe a gift card to a restaurant.

    One thing I really like is reading, I've been reading a lot of pregnancy books. Maybe she can get you a book for mother's, like one with touching stories. Or you could ask her for a specific book you haven't gotten around to buying yet.

    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d

    How about GC for prenatal massage, or GC to your fav restaurant?

    ASK HER FOR THE SNOOGLE!! Or a gift card to a local BRU or something where you can buy one. I'm telling you, it's a godsend!

    I have twins, so sleeping has started to be more difficult for me at an earlier time. But once you get to the point of being uncomfortable (if you aren't already) you will thank your sister every night when you use the body pillow.

    Got my snoogle last week (23 weeks) and I AM IN LOVE! How did I ever sleep without one??? Bed Bath and Beyond also has them and you can use the 20% off coupon!

    IF Dx: Endo, hetero MTHFR mutation, poor morphology
    #1 IUI: 1/18/12 = BFN

    When I read your post, my first thought was...SNOOGLE!

    A generic gift card, a gift card for mat clothes, WTEWYE if you dont have it, my bff got me chicken soup for the expentant mother's soul its cute, or even a gift card to your fav store, prenatal massage certificate or like a spa pedicure. Food is also great! lol a little gift basket of junk munchie foods :) How nice of your sister. Be sure to let us know what you end up getting!

    Snoogle or prenatal massage. You can save the massage for when aches and pains get tough.

    Thanks guys! I had got myself a body pillow a few weeks ago but it's not quite doing the trick. I hadn't heard of the snoogle but after looking it up maybe that's just what I need. That and some candy for my cravings. Wink
