AW: Big boy bed

Michael has been waking up for the last week in the middle of the night.  We are done with molars and he is not sick.  I think that he is getting tangled up in the crib and that is waking him up.  So we moved to the BBB last night.  I think that we made too big  deal over it because it took him a while to calm down.  He wanted us to sleep with him and then he wanted back in the crib.  Finally at 1030, he was back in the BBB and he was given the chose of laying down with Big Puppy and Mommy putting the blanket over his head or he could sit there and cry.  He made the right choice and slept all night without getting up once.

    Good job, Michael!!!

     

    We did the switch last month and I was amazed at how well it went. We have some nights where he comes out of bed occasionally just after we put him down, but for the most part he stays in.  Only issues are nightmares... he sometimes comes in our room and says he's scared but he's not fully awake.
