First of all thank you to everyone yesterday for you informative "what to expect" replies. They actually helped ease some of my fear. I still cried through half my appointment.
The nurse was awesome about my blood draw fear, even offered to go get me some juice before she started but I had sprite already on hand in my purse though. I came very close to passing out, sweating and seeing spots, but stayed awake.
We got pictures of our "gummy bear". We could make out its eye sockets and the starting formation of hands. Of course also saw and heard the heartbeat 178 bpm. We head back in 5 weeks for another ultrasound.
It feel so much more real now even laying on the u/s table it was feeling like a dream but now that we have shared pictures with family it's really setting in more.
And my tummy feels oh so crampy. That pap exam was painful but he was super fast. I felt like he was in and out in less than a minute. the ultrasound didn't hurt a bit though.
After years of struggling with infertility issues (PCOS since I was 16) and 15 medicated cycles we finally got blessed with our son. We got lucky with our 7th IUI using stims...Now we are back on the roller coaster to try for another miracle..IVF cycle in May resulted in a chemical pregnancy. 2 snowbabies FET 7/16-transferred 2 blastocyst...Faint bfp 4dp5dt!
