Pregnant after a Loss

Am I crazy?

I sell hair feathers, tinsel, and accessories at craft shows and festivals. I love doing this. It's my hobby. My next venue is September 29th an hour and 20 minutes from my hospital however all my family is out there and willing to take over if I need to leave. I'll be 37w4-5d. There's also a full moon that weekend LOL. DD was born 10 days late. I have no history of preterm labor. Am I crazy for attempting this venue? I planned it last year when I thought I would have a 3-4 month old baby at the time. The fee for setting up a booth is non refundable and already paid.

  • Go, have fun!  You're close to your hospital, and your family will be there to help if you need it :)

  • I don't think you are crazy, but I would definitely play it by ear the day of. If you are feeling any signs or symptoms of possible labor, I would leave it to your family to take care of the event.

  • As long as there are people to help you set up stuff and carry equipment, I say go for it! Sounds like fun! If you do go into labor, just make sure there's someone around to drive you, but otherwise I really wouldn't worry! 1.3 hours isn't too far away. I know people who live that far (with traffic) from their chosen hospital of delivery anyway.

  • Thanks ladies! All of a sudden I got really nervous thinking about it. I asked DH about it and he said "whatever you feel comfortable with". LOL I'm glad he supports me in my decisions but sometimes I need an opinion.
