did you reserve an email address for your LO

we did but mainly b/c of those "dear sophie" google commercials. my husband wanted to do that for her so he created her a gmail address & we send her emails, videos etc. our children are lucky that we can capture everything for them on film/video etc. 

for those who may not know what i'm talking about, this is the commercial

    yes, we did. and just like anything else, if email gets phased out, we'll either print it or do something else with it so it'll still be active.

    I did this exact same thing for Delali, and was inspired by the same commercial! I was so excited to do it for her but didn't get around to it until she was 4 months old.  The day she turned 4 months, I wrote her her first email and it's been so great because when I'm at work thinking about something cute she did the night before, I can jot her an email.  I write directly to her, trying to make it sound like we're having a conversation.  Like you, I attach pictures and videos of certain events.  It's so cool because I think I would forget most of these little things if I didn't write them down.  I hope she enjoys reading it later Smile  I'm thinking of giving her email to a few of our family members so they can write her an email to preserve a memory.
