I need pointers from those who have flown with LO!
We're taking our first flight with the kids next week and while DS will be fine with a DVD player and some books, I'm really concerned about DD...she isn't into toys/movies at all and has a short attention span with books. What were some things that you brought with you that kept LO occupied and quiet? The flight's only 2.5 hours and she'll have her own seat with carseat. Thanks!
Re: Flying with LO
Bring a few new toys (or toys she hasn't seen in awhile). Stickers, crayons, and lot's of paper helps us. She'll spend a lot of time sticking stickers, ripping paper, and coloring. I also take her to the bathroom at least once. We look in the mirror and make funny faces, splash (within reason) in the sink, and wash our face (wet a paper towel and rub our face). We go to the bathroom when she starts to get too fussy. This always reset's her. Oh, if your kids use straw cups only take ones that are not spill proof on the plane. The air pressure causes everything to come out like a fountain the whole trip.
Good luck!
