  • Awe, thank you. He has not shown up, but did text me yesterday. He said he was fine and just need a few days to "chill." WTHeck?  I wish I had that luxury. He is 32 and lives with my parents. They are changing the locks and kicking him out.

  • Oh and talk about adding to the stress. I was rear ended yesterday. When it rains it pours. Luckily, it was a minor accident, but so much for keeping my stress down during the 2WW.  I had dinner with some girlfriends that proceeded to tell me I am stressing too much and that is why I am not pregnant yet. WHAT????  Mind you, they are both single, older than me and with no kids. I wanted to say, "Yea, lets see how you feel once you start trying. Tell me how that no stress works out for ya!"  Grrr...that has got to be one of my all time pet peeves to hear.

Oh you are nicer than I am. If my friends say that sh!t to me (which some of them have), I just look at them and say, "I love you but you are an ass to say that. You have NO clue what you're talking about." The only ones who do are my friends who have had IF issues.

My mother even said once to me "just relax" yada yada yada. Yes, it's so easy to relax when you're temping every morning, POAS, going for b/w that is timed to your cycle (but not your work schedule!), etc. Yeah, I can forgo the massage and spa days, now, this TTC is so relaxing!  Stick out tongue

I just literally spit out the water I was drinking when I read that.

Glad your brother is okay icogburn, but I'd probably change the locks after that too if he was living with me. Yikes!

  • Exactly! I said if I could BD on any day knowing that would give me a chance to be pregnant...then maybe it wouldn't be so stressful.  I don't think most people (women included) realize there are only a few days a month when you can get pregnant. Top that with all the charting and testing, not to mention praying my husband hasn't had a stressful day and is even in the mood. Sigh.....just when you expect your friends to be more sympathetic. But, they aren't my "close" friends...so I should have been prepared for it.

Yea, I love my brother and I pray for him, but I won't enable. And I THINK my parents are finally figuring that out, too.
