When we bought our new house there was this huge jungle mess in the front yard. I actually didn't have much of an idea what was out there, but I knew I'd have to clean it up eventually. Just as I was planning to suck it up and go cut back the overgrown bushes, I came home to this, courtesy of my very sweet wife who (unbeknownst to me) hired someone to fix it for us:
How awesome is that?! I love that she did it as a surprise for me-- if she'd asked me, there is no way I would have "let" her spend the money, but it looks SO much better than I was envisioning (I kinda figured I'd have to pull a bunch of the bushes up just to make sense of the space). I love it!
The kids gave it their seal of approval, too:
Thank you, Wifey! You rock!!
