FFFC
I've got one!
I bought two tubs of formula and the girl only rang up one. At first I didn't realize it, but when I was walking out the door I did! I didn't turn back and I was a bit excited that I had scored some free formula.

My parents watched DD overnight on Wednesday so DH and I could have a date night. We were having so much fun that we forgot to call to check-in to see how things were going until after they had gone to bed. It was almost like I forgot I was a mom for four hours. Luckily things were fine, they would've called if it hadn't been.
ps: I didn't completely forget about DD, I bought her some adorable headbands.

This was along the lines of the FFFC that I typed then deleted...
We have a few friends that have had babies recently and I confess that I don't really care to hold or play with other people's babies. I think that DD is the most amusing baby in the whole world, but in general, I am not, have never been, and never will be a "baby person".

Hmmm me either now that I think about it. I am not the person that wants to hold, kiss, and blah blah others peoples babies. Unless it's like my Nephew or something.

My DD is clearly the most beautiful baby I've ever seen and even though I am a total baby person and love to hold all babies (although the desire to hold other babies or pay attention to them has gone way down since DD) there are babies INCLUDING some close friends' babies that I thought to myself "eeshhh, let's give you a few weeks and maybe you'll be cuter"
Since having my son, I've become a lot more...tolerant of other people's children and especially babies (even the not-so-cute ones). This, however, doesn't mean that I want to hold or touch or play with someone else's kids much less listen to them scream.
My FFFC is I've gotten into another guilty pleasure show: Teen Mom. I'm usually not the one to watch MTV, but being a mom, I'm sorta curious how teenagers handle being parents. Might not watch it for long, but I'm going to watch a few episodes on Netflix tonight just because I can.
I can agree on the point with other peoples' babies. They're cute, and I don't mind holding them for a minute, but I don't know your baby's nuances just because I have one of my own.
We are on an island where the primary means of transportation is bicycle or moped and the dirt roads mean you rarely get over 15 mph. We didn't expect to be in cars this week, so we didn't bring out car seat with us.

My FFFC: DS spit up all over my pants before I left for work, but I didn't have time to change so I just wiped them off and left. It left a little ring of spit-up on the pants, so I just kept wetting the ring when it dried up so it blended into the rest of the material. I have a new boss and was not about to be late this week!
So I went to the BRU great trade in event with three items to turn in for three 25% off coupons to spend in the store on three new car seats. One is for day care, one for my car, and one for husband's car. I bought a Graco Nautilus ($180), an Evenflo Tribute ($63) and an Evenflo Triumph ($150). So when the lady was scanning the boxes, she scanned the Tribute twice and the Triumph once. Along with a $25 gift card I had plus the 25% off each seat, I paid $225 for all three. I didn't go back into the store. ****waits for the universe to send appropriate punishment****
How do you like the Nautilus. We have two, but are realizing now that it doesn't install rear-facing. WTF?!?! How did I miss that?
