So one of the things I was working on at work was baby bottles. It has got me thinking about glass vs. BPA free plastic. I am leaning towards glass because they seem easier to clean, although they are heavier. I think for on-the-go I will still try a couple of plastic ones for the diaper bag. What have you all used or are you planning on using and why?

Re: Glass or plastic
We used a little bit of everything. I liked the glass, but we did have one break when LO was older and threw it out of the stroller. It had the rubber protector, but I guess it hit just right and cracked into 3 pieces. I had evenflo and medela in the glass.
Drop ins are super, super easy, and I loved them because you can squeeze all of the air out of the bottle before the feeding. The only down sides is that they can get kind of pricey, and make more waste.
One of my friends used these klean kanteen bottles and she LOVED them. I had a few stainless sippy cups for LO and I like them a lot for milk on the go, so I might try to get a few of these this time around. Stainless and glass won't hold that milk or formula smell like plastic does.

They actually aren't that heavy, but I do prefer the stainless steel to the glass bottles we had.

I tried glass ... don't know the brand but nipple was awful.
Going back a year ago, the options weren't great.... If they have a good selection including good nipples, I'd go w/glass.
Interesting that you never just tried to change the nipple. I believe most bottles are one of two sizes and nipples are interchangeable.
