Coughing

DD has a cough, along with some congestion.  Is there anything I can do to help her feel better?  She was having little coughing fits all night and it was so sad to listen to.

    I'm a little jaded bc I just went through the wk from hell, but if you hear chest congestion, I would take her to the pedi.  Last Sat DD had a little cough and no other symptoms.  The following day she got her first tooth so I assumed the cough was from that.  By Monday she had chest congestion but still no other symptoms.  I took her to the pedi and she was diagnosed with bronchitis.  The first meds wouldn't kick it so she ended up on antibiotics and breathing treatments. 

    Steamy bathrooms help along with keeping her elevated during sleep.

    It's a dry cough, with nasal congestion so sounds a little different than what your LO had.  I got the humidifier out and DH is picking up some Vick's today.  Hopefully that will help.
